During its annual gala fundraising event, Nan Inc and its owner Patrick Shin have been named Make-A-Wish Hawaii’s Corporate Partner of the Year

The 2021 event was called “A Night in Old Havana.” It was held virtually and was broadcast online and also on K5. The company Nan Inc has been recognized for its generous donations, allowing more than two dozen “wishes” to be granted over the past seven years!

The gala event also featured fun and light-hearted commercial that the team at Nan, Inc. produced as a salute to Make-A-Wish Hawaii.

The Make-A-Wish Foundation is a nonprofit organization founded in the United States. Its main goal is to help fulfill the wishes of children with a critical illness. Most of these children are between the ages of 2.5 and 18 years old

Make-A-Wish was founded in 1980 and is headquartered in Phoenix, Arizona. The organization operates through its 59 chapters located throughout the United States. They also work in over 50 countries through 39 international affiliates.

It all started when 7-year-old Chris Greicius was hospitalized with leukemia. Through the efforts of the hospital staff and with the help of others, he made his greatest wish come true. Due to all the interest from the media, the organization has been set up.

Nan Inc Owner and CEO Patrick Shin have a heart of gold. They have helped over a dozen different causes over the last couple of years. The construction company Nan Inc. has always been a ray of hope for those in need, from donating millions to local hospitals and charities worldwide to building a local school in the Philippines. They not only contribute to the Hawaiian community in Honolulu but also all over the world.

On Christmas, the Nan Inc. founder distributed $1500 worth of gift cards to Valoha – an organization that provides resources for the homeless and needy in several capacities on Oahu’s island community. The nonprofit movement works towards providing clothes, meals, toiletries, referrals, and other resources to the disadvantaged population of Oahu.

The easiest way to help is to contribute with a donation. When people donate, they’re giving children renewed strength to fight their illnesses, bringing families closer together and uniting entire communities. Interested people can make donations by visiting here to Make-A-Wish Hawaii.

People should absolutely donate to Make-A-Wish if they have the financial resources. Patrick Shin says, “When a child has their wish granted, it brings joy to everyone involved in the wish-granting process, even those who donated to Make-A-Wish and made the wish possible.”

Of course, there are also other ways to support. Determined people can establish a charitable giving plan, do charity streaming, donate airline miles and hotel points, or do other promotions. There are so many ways people can transform lives.

One thing is for sure, Patrick Shin was incredibly proud that he and his team could transform so many children’s lives through Make-A-Wish.
