In this book, Philip Keen reveals that the dead can tell many stories. If anyone would know this, it is definitely the certified forensic pathologist who has appeared as an expert witness in hundreds of court cases with several deceased. Using his own distilled experiences, Philip Keen has gone on to publish what is expected to be a page-turner on Amazon. The work of fiction is titled, “Objection, He’s Still Alive: Memoirs of a Cowboy Coroner”.

The book ushers readers into the life of William Moore, the protagonist who like Philip keen, is a forensic pathologist. Throughout his career, William Moore has attended to cases that range from the routine and mundane to the esoteric. He duly spends large periods of time at the medical examiner’s office. He aims to examine the dead to protect the living. So far, he has established that the causes of deaths vary. From common cardiovascular cases to accidents, or tragic homicides, there were too many ways for the living to become deceased. The reader gets to see extremely vivid descriptions from behind the scenes of how the dead are examined and evidence presented to convict the guilty.

“Each death is unique, and if I pay sufficient attention to the unique qualities, I can generally recall them at least to some detail. Did you bring your tape recorders? Are we ready to get started?” says William Moore, the protagonist, in the book.

“Highly recommend this book for those in the medical field or funeral industry! This is a great read!” says a recent reader.

Philip E. Keen, MD, is a certified forensic pathologist with extensive experience of combined 44 years as a chief medical examiner. His experience includes working as chief of pathology for 17 years in a community hospital, and as medical director of a private medical laboratory. Philip has also served as president of the Arizona Medical Association, and as chairman of the state medical licensing board.

Objection, He’s Still Alive: Memoirs of a Cowboy Coroner” by Philip Keen is available from Amazon.
