Fusion Art Announces the Winners of the 5th Anniversary Art Exhibition

Palm Springs, CA, USA – November 9, 2020 – Fusion Art is pleased to announce the opening of the 5th Anniversary International Art Exhibition. The exhibition is now available for viewing on the Fusion Art website and features awards in three categories: Traditional Art, Digital Art & Photography and 3-Dimensional Art.

For this special exhibition celebrating Fusion Art’s 5th Anniversary, both 2D and 3D artists, worldwide, were invited to submit their best art and photography in any subject matter and any media. All artists, regardless of location or experience, were encouraged to submit their work.

The Best in Show winners are Amy Rattner for her watercolor, “Deer Totem”, Shelley Benjamin for her digital photograph, “Metamorphosis” and Brian Mark for his Picasso marble, “Gray Mist”. As the Best in Show winners, Amy, Shelley and Brian are invited to participate in Fusion Art’s 5th Annual Group Show in Palm Springs in 2021.

Other award winners include Second Place winners, Chery Pruys, Katharine Philip and Diana Fernández. Third Place awards were given to Kathy M. Paulus, Barbara Mierau-Klein and David Travis. Fourth Place awards were given to Kevin Hetzel, Todd Dieringer and Tony Gangitano. Fifth Place awards were given to Vladimir Luna, Gareth Jones and Marina Smelik.

Rounding out the awards for the exhibition are fifteen Honorable Mention winners. Honorable Mention awards in the Traditional Art category were given to Marcia Pyner, Paco Martin, Kathy Christian, Craig R. Werkheiser, Yanqi Zhai and Mehrnosh Kaecker.

Honorable Mention awards in the Photography & Digital category were given to Peter Connolly, John Diephouse, Patrick O’Brien, Paul M. Murray, Diane Liguori and Sheri Emerson.

Honorable Mention awards in the 3-Dimensional category were given to Lesley Bodzy, Cameron Scott, Michele Bourdeau, Tara Kuhn, Sari Minichiello and Kate Hanley.

The remaining finalists in the exhibition all exemplified uniquely creative talents and we are honored to showcase their artwork on the Fusion Art website.

The international competition received a diverse collection of quality artwork from artists all around the world, including the US, Canada, United Kingdom, Australia, Germany, Russia, Croatia, Israel, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Hungary, India, Spain, Malaysia, the Netherlands, New Zealand, Philippines, South Korea, Singapore, Taiwan, Italy and South Africa. Overall, the gallery judged 631 entries for the exhibition, which will be featured on the website for 12 months.

Founded by Award winning artist, Chris and Valerie Hoffman, Fusion Art was envisioned and formed out of a passion for art and the artists who create it. The website promotes and connects new, emerging and established artists with collectors and art enthusiasts, while offering the opportunity to participate in art competitions, exhibitions and experiences.

Each month and quarter Fusion Art hosts uniquely themed solo and group art competitions and exhibitions. Both winners and finalists are provided with worldwide exposure, by having their work promoted through Fusion Art’s website, in hundreds of press release announcements, email marketing, online event calendars, art news websites and through the gallery’s social media outlets. The gallery’s objective is to promote the artists, worldwide, to art professionals, gallerists, collectors and buyers.
