“Before you begin reading this amazing novel, make sure you have nothing to do that day because you are not going to be able to put this book down. The tension and suspense begin immediately. I absolutely adored the courage and conviction of John. He is a flawed character but that makes him so much more realistic. The rest of the cast, especially the cold and merciless Marco, has been created with so much detail they jump off the page. There are some violent torture scenes but they were definitely needed to bring authenticity to the plot. The timing of the areas of conflict was just right to keep the story compelling. The subject matter of Soul Proprietor by Duke R Woodrick is relevant and the possibility of the events happening in real life will shake you to your core. The ending was a masterpiece and tied everything together perfectly. An amazing story brilliantly told and a book that you will not easily forget.”
