Carter Doyle, is an award-winning actor, writer, and director from Melbourne, Australia who starred in many films like Strange Game of Hyde and Seek, and one of the highest-rated TV series on Australian television, the BBC/ABC productions Doctor Blake Mysteries and Australia on Trial.

Acting became a passion for Carter Doyle at a very young age. He took on important roles in the drama serials Blue Heelers and Good Guys Bad Guys, including a couple of feature films like The Feds: Deadfall (1993) and Rainbow’s End (1995). Once he graduated from high school, he enrolled into the Footscray Film and Television Academy, where he subsequently studied the art of filmmaking. He performed in around sixty student films, and directed ten of these movies, as well as a thriller called The Tub.

The Tub is a short film, but even here Carter Doyle displays his filmmaking prowess, when he began with a simple idea, and transformed it into artistic magic. This project indulges into the tale of a shattered marriage, with a haunted bathtub adding more problems to the lives of the people in the movie. As the plot unfolds, Joel and Geneva have a terrible, unhappy marriage and they both seek escapes from their sad and miserable union. While her husband is away, Gen takes advantage of his departure, and she tries to have an affair with a young lover. The twist to the whole story is that Gen wants to spend some passionate time with this young adult in the haunted bathtub, which will hurt her in more ways than she realized. The director of this film Carter Doyle shows creativity and imagination in creating a fast-paced thriller, with a good dose of humor, in how it presents a cheater being attacked by a haunted bathtub, as if in revenge for the act of philandering when a vow has been made.

One of Carter Doyle’s greatest roles was in the Strange Game of Hyde and Seek, a short film, which is an outstanding adaptation of the classic story The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. He plays the role of Mr. Utterson, who is friends with the Dr. Hyde of this production. Carter Doyle has a gift for acting and he knows exactly how to get into character and become Utterson himself, and express concern for his friend Dr. Hyde, who is ever so rapidly degrading into lunacy. It isn’t easy to be an actor in a role involving crime and murder, but Carter Doyle is able to portray this man almost exactly liked the character from the original story.

Recently, Carter Doyle won several awards for being in the Adelaide Fringe Festival Hit Selfies After Dark. His brilliant acting skills have earned him the Best Film award for movies Bereave It or Not (2004), Platform (2008), and The Beasthouse (2010). He was even nominated Best Short Film for the film project Bereave It or Not. The Australian actor Carter Doyle is a very talented actor, and his performance speaks for itself in his movies and demo reels. With this kind of an acting resume he can certainly rise to fame in Hollywood
